Principle of the device:
Inserting and removing the test piece is performed using the FANUC robot. The workpiece is regularly inserted into the shape bed. The bed here performs the function of the workpiece filling to reduce the air fill volume for leakage testing. Clamping is done by means of three pneumatic clamps. After clamping, a leak test is performed using Furness-Controls located at the bottom of the frame. According to the result of the test, the OK product is placed on the conveyor. The NOK pieces are transferred by the robot out of the conveyor into the prepared box.
The station is controlled by the PLC. The control and setting of the station can be performed on the HMI panel at the front of the station or on the side of the Furness-Controls panel.
