On May 19, 2026, we celebrated a significant milestone with our guests: the 75th anniversary of VÚTS’s founding. We commemorated the anniversary together with business partners, representatives from industry, academia, and public administration, as well as long-time collaborators who have contributed and continue to contribute to the development of the company and Czech applied research.

The celebratory program took place at VÚTS and, throughout the day, provided an opportunity not only to look back on the company’s history but, above all, to discuss the future of research, development, and innovation in Czech industry.

Seven and a half decades of development and technical innovation

For 75 years, our company, VÚTS, has been among the leading Czech research and development organizations. Over the course of our existence, we have undergone extensive development. From our original focus on textile technologies to today’s broad portfolio of activities in the fields of mechanical engineering, automation, mechatronics, the development of single-purpose machines, advanced materials, and applied research.

A long-term priority of our company is linking research with industrial practice and transferring innovations into real-world operations. It is precisely this ability to respond to technological changes and market needs that enables VÚTS to operate successfully not only in the Czech Republic but also abroad.

Press Conference and Meeting with Distinguished Guests

The celebrations also included a press conference dedicated to the company’s history, current projects, and VÚTS’s future direction in research, development, and collaboration with industrial partners.

The event was attended by a number of distinguished guests from industry, public administration, research institutions, and partner organizations.

We greatly appreciate the high turnout of all invited guests who joined us to celebrate this significant anniversary.

A Look to the Future

For us, the 75th anniversary is not only a reminder of the company’s rich history but also a commitment to the years ahead. VÚTS aims to continue developing cutting-edge applied research, supporting technological innovation, and serving as a reliable partner for industrial companies in the Czech Republic and abroad.
