THE DIGITAL INNOVATION HUB

The Digital Innovation Hub (DIH) is a project that aims to support digital transformation and innovation in the Liberec and Hradec Kralove regions. DIH is a network of companies, universities, research and innovation centres and other entities involved in digital technologies, and our company VÚTS is one of the DIH partners.

Among the DIH consortium members are two regional development agencies, the leader of the consortium is the Liberec Regional Development Agency, complemented by the Hradec Králové CIRI. Academic departments of TUL and UHK, our research centre VÚTS, as well as the cyber security company AEC and the National Cluster Association NCA offer their services.

The aim of DIH is to promote the creation of new products and services using digital technologies, while increasing the competitiveness of the region. The DIH project provides expert consultation and training in digital technologies, R&D collaboration and the use of modern technologies such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, blockchain and robotics.

DIH Liberec and the Hradec Králové Region is part of the nationwide DIH network, which brings together dozens of innovation centres across the Czech Republic. The aim of the national DIH network is to support the digital transformation in the Czech Republic and to increase the competitiveness of Czech companies in the field of digital technologies.

The DIH project is funded by the European Union and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic. DIH is an important opportunity for companies, universities and research centres in the Liberec and Hradec Kralove regions to engage in the innovation process and develop their digital competences.
