Meeting of the Confederation of Industry and Transport of the Czech Republic at VÚTS

This week, we had the opportunity to host a meeting of the Confederation of Industry and Transport of the Czech Republic (SP ČR), of which we have been a long-standing member. Representatives of the Confederation's top management, including President Jan Rafaj, Vice-President Bohdan Wojnar, and other members of the wider management team, visited Liberec. The invitation was also accepted by Martin Půta, Governor of the Liberec Region, whose participation we greatly appreciate.

The meeting took place in a professional yet informal atmosphere and was attended by more than forty representatives of major companies, employers, and academics from across the region. The program included a guided tour of our facilities, led by VÚTS CEO Jiří Václavík, during which guests had the opportunity to learn more about ongoing projects, research activities, and the technical background of our center.

The subsequent discussion focused on the current economic situation in the Czech Republic and the Liberec Region, the challenges facing industrial companies, and the opportunities arising from the deepening cooperation between industry, research organizations, and public administration.

We would like to thank all participants for their time, stimulating discussions, and sharing of experiences! We are pleased that these meetings are taking place here, and we believe that the mutual exchange of knowledge and long-term partnerships contribute to the further development of Czech industry and the regional economy.
