VÚTS supports young talent and student projects!

Last Friday, we attended the ceremonial presentation of the new FS TUL Racing student formula car for the 2025 season, which took place at the Automoto Museum in Lučany nad Nisou. The new car is named Magdalena, after the Czech writer M. D. Rettigová, and we are once again involved in its development.

Our company was represented by colleagues Pavel Klouček and Jan Bělík from the Measurement Department, and the Laser Application Center team was represented by Romana Kůrková and Libor Dvořák.

We have been working with the FS TUL Racing student team for three years now.

We help with:

  • the design and welding of the battery storage unit,
  • measuring the torsional stiffness of the frame.

We are also discussing possible cooperation on:

  • welding brake discs,
  • measuring stress and deformation of axles while driving.

Our colleague Jan Bělík, a founding member of the FS TUL Racing project, also often contributes with expert advice and last year personally participated as a member of the service and support team for a student formula race in Poland. Our VÚTS logo has a place of honor on the formula, and not just figuratively.

The event was also supported by Czech motorsport personalities such as Mr. Moskal, driver of the famous Paris-Dakar Rally, and the Veselí brothers, racers and designers with heart and soul.

We fully support similar projects and believe that our cooperation and integration of development, testing, and simulation will intensify in the future.
